Add LocalWise to your phone

This takes about thirty seconds. When it is done, LocalWise has its own icon on your home screen, opens full screen with no address bar in the way, and keeps you signed in.

  1. 1

    Open LocalWise in Chrome

Go to leads.localwiseagency.com in Chrome, the round red, yellow, green and blue icon.

If you tapped a link inside WhatsApp, Facebook or your email app, you are in that app's own little browser and the menu in the next step will be missing items. There is a fix for that further down.

  2. 2

    Tap the three dots

They are in the top right corner, next to the address.

On some Samsung phones the button is three lines in the bottom right corner instead. There are separate instructions for that below.

    Choose Add to Home screen

A menu drops down. Tap Add to Home screen.

Some phones word it as Install app and put it near the top of the menu. Both do exactly the same thing.

    Tap Install

A panel appears with the LocalWise icon and name already filled in. Tap Install, or Add if that is what yours says.

If it then asks how to place the icon, Add automatically is the easy answer.

Open it from your home screen

The icon is on your home screen now. On some phones it lands in the app drawer instead, the list you get by swiping up from the bottom. Hold it and drag it out to your home screen if you want it there.

Tap it, sign in once with the email address and password we sent you, and it will keep you signed in from then on.

If your phone looks different

  • Samsung Internet. Tap the three lines in the bottom right, then Add page to, then Home screen.
  • Firefox. Tap the three dots, then Add to Home screen. It sits below Share.
  • You are in another app's browser. This is much the most common reason for the option being missing. Tap the three dots and choose Open in Chrome or Open in browser, then start again at step 2.

Worth knowing

  • This is not a Play Store download. It takes up almost no space on your phone, and it updates itself, so you are always on the newest version.
  • You only sign in once. After that the icon takes you straight to your leads.
  • To remove it, hold your finger on the icon and choose Uninstall or Remove, the same as any other app.
